Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions. ~ Author Unknown

My goal is to reveal one teacher's humble journey of self-reflection, critical analysis, and endless questioning about my craft of teaching and learning alongside my middle school students.

"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called 'truth'." ~ Dan Rather

In the DC areas? Come check out a great new play!

From a former colleague and work looking into...

Dear All -

Our show - Enchanted April - opened this past weekend to lots of laughs and joyous commentary- two weekends left! Here's your chance to see the Tony Nominated Best Play of 2003 and the 2003 John Gassner Award Winner for Outstanding New American Play!

Make your April an enchanted one - come see the romantic comedy - "Enchanted April" - at Silver Spring Stage this April (by Matthew Barber, based on the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim - and later made into a movie). I have the lead role in this British comedy set in the 1920s. Lots of fun! Go from dreary old England to sunny Italy - all in one night!  First review I've seen. (4 1/2 stars and rave comments! - check it out!)

The show runs Fri and Sat. nights at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm from April 13 thru April 29 - three weekends only (two weekends left). Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.ssstage.org or by calling 301-593-6036.

Silver Spring Stage is located at the Woodmoor Shopping Center at Four Corners (intersection of Univ. Blvd. and Rt. 29/Colesville Rd) in Silver Spring - just off 495 at exit 30A. Plenty of parking behind the shopping center. The theater is underground (elevator available) - under the CVS.

All the best! -
Natalie McManus/ Lotty
