The PDK Emerging Leaders program recognizes top educators (age 40 or younger) from around the world for their leadership. Here are some of the benefits of becoming a PDK Emerging Leader:   

• Invitation and travel stipend to a special event honoring this year’s recipients, held in Washington, D.C.
• Publication opportunities with PDK, including Kappan, Educational Horizons, and Go Teach magazines
• Press release distribution to your local media
• Personal letter announcing the award sent to your immediate supervisor
• PDK leadership opportunities (serve as reviewers for various scholarships, the PDK Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award, and PDK grant projects)
• Eligibility for project grant funding available only to PDK Emerging Leaders
