One of my former peers at Harvard who now teaches in Baltimore recently started up a wonderful math teaching blog. Check out its beginnings!
Dear all,
Some of my colleagues and I, from the upper school math department at the Park School of Baltimore, have just started a blog about math pedagogy, and wanted to invite you to read/comment if you are so inclined. We plan to discuss the joys and challenges of teaching math in an inquiry-based way, with topics ranging from our experience with specific problems to larger issues about assessment, class discussion, you name it. We're also making lessons from our self-produced 9th-11th grade texts available for download. Please check it out and join the conversation: http://www.parkmath.org.
Cheers,
Anand
As a public educator, I aim to share my story with those interested about what really happens inside today's classroom. I hope my stories inspire, educate, and entertain you, as the calling of teaching is never neat or predictable. Please note that my blog content does not necessarily reflect the viewpoints or beliefs of my school district or colleagues.

My goal is to reveal one teacher's humble journey of self-reflection, critical analysis, and endless questioning about my craft of teaching and learning alongside my middle school students.
